The Utah Jazz and Ken Garff teamed up with Turn Community services to host a fun-filled day at the Delta Center for adults from five disability day programs across Utah County. Assorted Utah dealerships and corporate teamed up with the Utah Jazz to assemble 350 meal kits for food insecure families in local Salt Lake School District. Employees purchased food, assembled the kits, and passed them out during a drive-through party featuring the Jazz Bear and dancers!
Big Star Dodge employees worked with Project Joy and Hope to make baskets for families enrolled in The Tulip Project, which supports families with a child facing a critical or life-threatening illness. The team filled the baskets with essentials and the families’ favorite things to give them encouragement and love during a difficult time!
The team at St. George Ford purchased and assembled a new sectional, tv stand, washer, and dryer for local homeless shelter Youth Futures! The new furniture and appliances will help the shelter feel more like a home for youth needing emergency and temporary shelter.
The Desert stores devoted themselves to cleaning up after Hurricane Hilary, involving over 60 employees in assisting 18 families affected by the storm! All California stores chipped in to provide each family with money to further support their recovery.
Ken Garff Automotive Group and the Utah Jazz, in collaboration with the Salt Lake City School District, Salt Lake Education Foundation, and four local schools, are teaming up to provide “Feast Boxes” to 350 food-insecure families in the district during the fall break.
Mesquite Ford teamed up with food pantry Brooke’s Good Deeds, donating $2,500 and volunteering. Employees spent the day packing bags of goods for delivery and pickup as well as helping in-need families gather food!
The Riverdale team threw a bike party for children in Utah Foster Care. The kids picked out a new bike, customized their helmets with stickers, and were treated to a popsicle!
The Salt Lake Imports team purchased and assembled 175 bikes for children in Utah Foster Care. Employees hosted a party where the kids received their bikes and bike locks, decorated their new helmets with stickers, and were treated to snow cones!
