1932Ken Garff opens our first Graham-Paige dealership where work ethic and values keep us in business.
1937We begin selling Studebaker cars and trucks, selling more than 40 each month.
1938We enter the mobile home business, becoming the largest in the world by 1964.
1946We acquire the Salt Lake Oldsmobile dealership.
1958We become the first Utah Mercedes-Benz dealership.
1971We open the first Honda dealership east of California.
1986We Back Up Every Car We Sell brand introduced.
1986We have five dealerships: Oldsmobile, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Honda, Hyundai.
1987We acquire Streator Chevrolet.
1997Ken Garff passes away March 14th; Robert Garff becomes CEO of Garff Enterprises.
1999We purchase the Warner Group (downtown block) and double in size.
2002John Garff becomes CEO of Garff Enterprises.
2005Ken Garff Automotive Group moves its corporate offices into the Ken Garff Building.
2006We start the Keys to Success high school student incentive program.
2006We acquire Dodge City and enter business in Iowa.
2007We acquire Texan Buick GMC and begin business in Texas.
2008We acquire Surf City Nissan and begin business in California.
2010We start the Road to Success elementary literacy program.
2010We acquire Hamer Toyota, our largest acquisition and currently our largest dealership.
2010Brett Hopkins becomes CEO of Garff Automotive Group.
2011"We Hear You" tagline and Creating Lifetime Customers Brand introduced.
2015Ken Garff acquires Cadillac of Novi, Southfield CJDR, and Telegraph CDJR.
2016We come in at #8 in the top 10 automotive dealership groups nationally.
