What a great vehicle...we are so excited to offer this new model to our cutsomers. It truly is fun to drive, great on MPG, and turns heads with it's design. Come in and check this exciting new model out for yourself today!!! Don't let the 35/39/37 mileage fool you, this is without the ECON mode..which means the mileage is even better than that. EPA tests thier vehicles in normal mode. This means that the gas saving ECON mode was not used. Makes a huge difference in your day to day mileage. Of course the other part is how you drive.

If you look at the Insight for instance. The EPA labels it at 40/43 again without the ECON Mode. If you look at all the great reviews on EDMUNDS.COM where the Insight gets a 9 out of 10 from consumers...the mileage is definately much better in ECON. In fact most customers are getting 49-56 MPG and then there are the folks that are hypermilers..where we see MPG in the 60's! Of course how you drive is the biggest factor in the MPG for your Hybrid. If you drive like a speed demon your mileage suffers, if you are a hypermiler, then you will reap the rewards! Here are a couple of Exerpts from EDMUNDS Consumer Reviews on the Insight mileage..

" Review: The Insight is extremely fun to drive. Our average MPG is also much better than the EPA report, 46-48 on every tank. Again, just wanted to share with you that the ECON mode does wonders for the MPG and Consumers are noticing. Wish that the EPA used ECON and NORMAL and atleast averaged this. But, oh well. This ECON Mode is bound to inhance the MPG dramatically in your CRZ as well. That is its design. So come test it for yourself!
