Ken Garff and Utah Jazz host Fun-Filled Day of Activities for Turn Community Services
The Utah Jazz and Ken Garff teamed up with Turn Community services to host a fun-filled day at the Delta Center for adults from five disability day programs across Utah County.
Participants were able to enjoy three engaging activities including a crafting station where they could decorate water bottles and make friendship bracelets, a dance party alongside Zyia Active Jazz Dancers, and a basketball clinic focused on sharpening skills and friendly competition.
“Helping to give a memorable day of fun and activities to over 100 adults who are served by Turn Community Services warms our hearts,” said Brett Hopkins, CEO, Ken Garff Automotive Group. “This is why we began this ‘We’re Hear for You’ initiative four years ago—to help lift others up in in our communities.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Ken Garff on offering this unique experience at Delta Center for Turn Community Services and the individuals they support in our community,” said Chris Barney, chief commercial officer of the Utah Jazz. “By joining forces, we can emphasize our shared commitment to fostering an environment that embraces inclusion and create events designed to uplift and celebrate the abilities of each individual.”
Ken Garff donated $2,000 to each day program and provided attendees and Turn staff with gifts and swag.
