Katharine B. Garff Named Garff Enterprises Chair

SALT LAKE CITY (July 28, 2020) – Garff Enterprises, Inc. Board of Directors has named Katharine B. Garff chair, filling the position long held by her husband, Robert, who died March 29, 2020.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Kathi Garff named as chair of Garff Enterprises. She has been the heart of this company and was in the unique position to work with her husband, Bob, to help guide the company to what it is today,” said John Garff, President of Garff Enterprises. “Kathi has an intuitive sense for this business, and we look forward to many more years of growth under her leadership.”

Katharine Garff is a board member of Garff Enterprises, Inc., a director of the Robert H. and Katharine B. Garff Foundation, the past chair of the Utah State Board of Education, and a former member of the Utah Board of Regents and Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind.

Kathi and Robert founded the Ken Garff Road to Success and Ken Garff Keys to Success programs, which help students succeed academically. Kathi was recognized with the People of Vision Award by Friends for Sight and received the University of Utah’s highest honor, the distinguished alumni award, at the university’s Founders Day 2020 celebration.
