Ken Garff American Fork – The Dan Peterson School Mural
Our American Fork Teams painted three murals on the walls of the Dan Peterson School in American Fork. The Dan Peterson school is a special school for children with disabilities. 50% of the students are in wheelchairs, and the disabilities are on the severe side. There is a high ratio of teachers to students so that every child can have the attention they need and deserve to excel. The school interior has a dark brick, and so with the request of the principal and staff they’ve requested that our employees paint a mural to help warm up and brighten the space for everyone at this school. We feel honored to be able to give back to this school as well because of the hardship they’ve faced. They recently lost their beloved principal to covid last year, so we feel like this small service project will help brighten both the staff and students. With the help of a hired mural artist, employees prepped, primed, sketched and painted the murals themselves.
