Reach Out Today Shop-a-Thon

Ken Garff Honda, Nissan, and Buick GMC of Riverdale all partnered with Reach Out Today and the Ogden School District to help local at-risk elementary school students prepare for summer break.

Our staff met 100 students at a local Kohl’s store to shop for new spring and summer clothing essentials. Each child was paired with an employee to lead them through the store and help them pick out their new clothes and shoes.

It can be tough for any family to handle the constant need for new clothes as their kids grow, but it’s especially hard for low-income families. Most of these students fall below the poverty line, and we were glad to provide some relief and joy for them and their families.
