Housewarming Kits with The Other Side Village

Employees from Lexus of Murray and Lexus of Lindon came together in March to support The Other Side Village Prep School in Salt Lake City.

Teams assembled nine housewarming kits for the tiny homes at The Other Side Village. Each kit, valued at around $1,000, included essential items like pots and pans, bedding, rugs, and cleaning supplies. In addition to assembling kits, employees cleaned, washed windows, and completed yardwork to improve the community space.

These tiny homes are designed to help residents transition into stable housing, and we were delighted to have a few graduates of The Other Side Academy volunteering alongside us for this project.

The Other Side Village Prep School is a six-month to one-year program designed to prepare individuals experiencing homelessness for long-term housing stability. The village features both private homes and shared amenities like a community garden, grocery store, retail spaces, and a park.

We are proud to support The Other Side as they work to create lasting impact and provide pathways to stability for fellow community members.
